Turkey India Trade Relations Event at Chennai 

The Turkish Delegation, headed by Ministry of Economy Turkey, visited Ashok Leyland plant in Chennai, which is India’s 2nd Largest Commercial Vehicle manufacturing companies. Ashok Leyland also showed keen interest sourcing parts, components & Assemblies from Turkey, Followed by business meetings with the purchase heads of Ashok Leyland.
At the Hotel, there were B2B Meeting session held in Chennai, where 250+ business meetings organised between Indian & Turkish TIER 1 automotive companies.

India & Turkey,  the two countries sharing common values & secular democracies which led to the upgradation of bilateral relationship between them.

Crescendo Worldwide & TAYSAD (Turkish association of Automotive) along with Ministry of Economy, Turkey jointly organized TAYSAD Trade Delegation to India.

On the very first day, the delegation arrived at Delhi Airport in the morning and immediately departed by flight to Chennai for Taysad-India Delegation.

The first day commenced with Chennai city Tour from morning to evening followed by Briefing session for Turkish companies which focused on Indian Market Potential, Business Practices and culture in India and ways of doing business in India.

The session also included an introduction with individual representative of Crescendo Worldwide who would be assisting the Turkish company during meetings.

At the end of the day an enchanting evening with the cultural programme of dance and music was organized which really dazzled and amazed the guests and made them delightful and relaxed.

This simple sharing of culture, history, beliefs and tradition of India really supported to forge the cultural relationship between both the countries.

On the second day, early morning, the Turkish Delegation, headed by Ministry of Economy Turkey, visited Ashok Leyland plant in Chennai, which is India’s 2nd Largest Commercial Vehicle manufacturing companies. Turkish Delegation Visited Invest India at Delhi. 

The whole delegation was welcomed by Invest India (Central body of Government of India for FDI Support), where officials explained about Support by Government of India to Foreign companies under Make in India, and how Turkish companies can take advantage of Government Incentives etc.

Turkish Delegation visited India Gate, one of the oldest monuments of India in Delhi.

Commerce Minister of India Mr. Suresh Prabhu, addressed the event via Video Conferencing, spoke about initiatives for India-Turkey Bilateral Trade Enhancement.
In Delhi the B2B meetings was held on the last day where 350+ business meetings were organized between Indian & Turkish companies, where we had a fruitful discussion with Turkish Companies who showed keen interest in exploring Business in Indian Market.
Around 15 Indian Automotive OEM’s like TATA, Mahindra, Sonalika, MAN, PACCAR, who met Indian & Turkish suppliers discussing about their present requirement.
We have achieved great success in terms of signing 80+ MOU’s of co-operation, Joint Venture, Technology Transfer, Outsourcing etc, between India & Turkish companies.
We consider this event as a great start of a shining relationship between two Great Nations India & Turkey.
