In 1983, it made its first export as a marble block under the
name of Suayp Demirel Import, Export and Tourism. In
1984, it continued to produce marble as the Suayp Demirel
Marble Factories and on 03.08.1990, it continued to
contribute to the Turkish economy, taking the name
DEMMER A.S. Demmer Demireller Marble Industry and
Trade Inc. was established on an area of 110,000 m² in the
Iscehisar Marble Industrial Zone, known as the heart of
Turkish marbles, on the 22nd km of Afyon - Ankara highway
and has a closed area of 30,000 m². Demmer produces with
its qualified manpower, its structure that follows the
technology, its innovative approach, its modern factories and
the stones it provides from its own quarries, providing
quality, continuity and high capacity according to the
demands of the whole world. Today, Demmer has focused on
the production of beige and travertine for the demands.
Currently, it operates 6 quarries for travertine, 4 quarries for
marble, 7 quarries for beige, and 1 quarry for limestone and
sandstone. The total annual production of the quarries is
approximately 160,000 m³. DEMMER A.S. processes 35%
of this production in its own factories and offers it to the
world market as semi-finished and finished materials. In
2011, Demmer A.S.’s export capacity is approximately 500-
600 containers per month.
